Eenadu group chairman Cherukuri Ramoji Rao lives only on lies. His media spreads only lies against his political rivals.
It has been proved time and again that Ramoji Rao has a political agenda and his media speaks in line with his agenda.
He also carries TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu over his shoulders and builds a fortress of lies to save Chandrababu Naidu from his rivals.
These days, Ramoji Rao’s media is coming up with bundle of lies every day against Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government in Andhra Pradesh.
Ramoji’s Eenadu carries one banner story every day against the government fully packed with blatant lies only to favour the TDP and its chief Chandrababu Naidu.
The latest is the Eenadu banner story on Tuesday on the State’s borrowings.
The story says that the State government had borrowed to the maximum extent which no previous government did in the past.
He gave some figures to prove his lie.
But remember what he wrote on May 30, 2019 about the State coffers? The Eenadu story on that day when Jagan Mohan Reddy took oath as chief minister was that the State exchequer has just Rs 100 crore left by the previous TDP government.
In the story, Ramoji said that the TDP government started the new financial year 2019-20 with overdraft.
The report further says that TDP government announced Pasupu Kumkuma and Annadata Sukheebhava schemes just before the elections. As the banks refused to give loans for these schemes, the TDP government had directed all its private borrowings for the schemes.
Besides the overdrafts, the TDP had also borrowed maximum limit of Rs 8,000 crore in just one month, though the limit was set by RBI for the first quarter – four months.
Further, the TDP government had given in writing to the RBI that it would not go for borrowing till the end of first quarter. This would mean that the TDP government borrowed all the three months limit in just one month!
This borrowing had left no option for the successive government which came into power in June 2019 to go for another loan.
Even the private market loans were also closed for the YSR Congress government in its first month.
As facts stood like this, even as per the Eenadu report, Ramoji Rao is campaigning against the YCP government to favour the TDP with bunch of lies!
