It is known news that TDP leader Sabbam Hari’s attempt to encroach government land has resulted in action from the authorities who were able to get that land back. Since then the yellow media has been propagating strongly about how the Y S Jagan government is harassing opposition party members.
Fact is, if he is really the owner of the 250 yards in Seethammadhaara, he can always approach the court and prove his point. On the other side, even the local media is not supporting his standpoint. If he is able to bring out the legal point and prove that he has not resorted to any illegal act the truth will be known to all. However, Sabbam is currently breathing fire on the YSRCP Government and the authorities alleging it is an attack on the party as well.
Meanwhile, few reactions from the people of Andhra came like this:
A retired professor from Andhra University said, “What Sabbam Hari is doing is just drama. The YSRCP government has been quite strict when it comes to such issues. On August 13, 2020 the late YSRCP leader Koya Prasad Reddy was directly suspended as it was proved he was part of illegal land encroachment issue. Jagan’s administration has zero tolerance policy towards such things.”
Another bank employee said, “This looks like a sheer harassment on TDP members. As it is, Sabbam Hari has been quite vocal about the flaws in the administration that’s why he is being targeted, I feel. But when I came to know that even YSRCP leaders are not being spared now in illegal land procurement issues, I think nothing is political about it. ”
A local businessman from Vizag said, “I don’t agree this is an unjust act. Sabbam Hari and his group spent a lot of money when Vijayamma contested because they feared that if she wins Vizag will become another Kadapa. As such, entire AP can become Kadapa. In fact, my circles reveal how CM Jagan gave a strict warning to the Rayalaseema leaders and other bigwigs to behave themselves and not attempt to any illegal land activities in the state. In fact, even if someone has to invite Jagan for a wedding, they have to submit the wedding card at the local YSRCP office in Rayalaseema and not come to Amaravati. He knows that when he comes to power those around him will start feeling powerful and it will create a law and order issue. That’s why this move from him to keep everyone in check.”
An IT employee working in Vizag mentioned “It is about time the political leaders and their illegal land grabbing should be brought out to light. I sincerely appreciate the Municipal authorities of Vizag for doing their job diligently and fearlessly. And I appreciate the government for giving that power to the officials to do their job without pressure.”
A retired government employee said, “Sabbam Hari is a leader who made his fortune with power all these years. But the authorities should have followed procedure properly and given him enough time to respond to their claim. Everything happened in a jiffy which goes to show how everything was just a preplanned act to create pressure. Already, Acham Naidu is facing the music and now it is Hari’s turn.”
A well known jeweler from the city added his thoughts “When a new government comes to power it is generally the business community which is targeted for the obvious reason, money. Since YSRCP came into power, we have never experienced such bitter situations so I am sure the action they have taken against Sabbam Hari has nothing to do with his party background or anything. Justice is justice…and it is same for all, including political leaders.”
For now, Sabbam Hari is venting out his anger with the support of the yellow media but it is only a matter of time before the people will discover once and for all who is at fault and who is right.
