The two parties are fighting a tough battle in Andhra Pradesh. The leaders don’t even like to see eye to eye.
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, his son Lokesh and every leader of the party indulge in hard hitting criticism on the ruling YSR Congress and its chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In return, Jagan Mohan Reddy hits back at the TDP leaders whenever he gets the opportunity, while his party leaders accuse and abuse the TDP leaders.
However, there are friends in both the parties and they keep in touch if not regularly meet.
But, here is a different case, where these friends meet often and exchange pleasantries. They never miss any opportunity to meet.
They are Minister Kodali Nani from the YSR Congress and former MLA Vangaveeti Radhakrishna from the opposition TDP.
The two are good friends for many years. Though they are in two rival parties, they never miss the opportunity to meet and spend time together.
They met at Gudivada on Saturday and joined the funeral procession of local politician Adapa Venkata Ramana.
As the funeral process was in progress, both Kodali Nani and Vangaveeti Radhakrishna sat in an auto and shared a cup of tea.
It may be recalled that Radhakrishna alleged that YSR Congress leaders were trying to kill him. Even TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu had visited Vangaveeti and extended support, while blaming Jagan Mohan Reddy for criminal politics.
