Peddireddy Faces Setback After 2024 Election

Former minister in the YSRC government, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy from the Punganur constituency, has suddenly found himself at a loss.

Once considered invincible in Punganur and influential throughout the Chittoor district, Reddy now finds himself unable to enter his own constituency following the 2024 election results.

Despite wielding unchallenged authority during the YSRC rule and confidently claiming he would defeat TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu in the Kuppam constituency, Reddy's claim did not materialize.

He barely managed to retain his seat in Punganur with a slim margin of 6,619 votes.

Given the recent developments, the former YSRC minister has decided to lie low for now.
