Pawan wrongly trolled for I-Day-R-Day statement!

Pawan wrongly trolled for I-Day-R-Day statement!

That there is absolutely no control over social media, which is being abused by trollers by posting wrong messages without verifying facts and making them viral has once again been proved in the case of Jana Sena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan.

All through Monday, the YSR Congress party social media activists made a video clipping viral, targeting Pawan Kalyan.

The video, which was obviously taken out of context from a lengthy message given by the deputy chief minister, shows him asking the people to celebrate “Gana Tantra Dinotsavam” (Republic Day) on August 15 (Independence Day).

“August 15 ni Gana Tantra Dinotsavam ga naamakaranam chesina Pawan Kalyan” (Pawan Kalyan renamed Independence day as Republic Day) was the message that was circulated on social media on Monday.

This led to trolling of Pawan and there were some supporters, too.

“The man who once claimed that the bulb was invented by Einstein is the same man who is suggesting that August 15th should be celebrated as Republic Day instead of Independence Day across the whole of India,” commented one netizen.

“Independence Day = ganatantra dinotsavam. Idi just teaser matrame, ee 5 years full stuff istadu,” said another troller.

“Idedo Jayanthi, Vardhanthi case la unde.. Inni pustakaalu chadivina ayyagaari gnanam idenaa? Mari January 26 va thedee em jaruputaado?” (This looks like mistaking birth anniversary with death anniversary. Is it the knowledge this gentleman has gained, after reading so many books? What will he celebrate on January 26?” another social media follower asked.

“Meanwhile meme pages on Aug 15 be like: Happy republic day to all, jai hind,” said another person.

But another netizen came to the defence of Pawan.

“Pawankalyan initiative is good. He spoke for Independence Day and Republic Day fund allocation 15000 rs and 25000 rs which was previously 150 rs and 250 rs. Why you guys cut few parts and try to educate wrong things to public. If you don't support Pawankalyan then sit ideal,” he suggested.

Actually, Pawan Kalyan did not mistake I-Day with R-Day. In the full video of the deputy chief minister which was released by Jana Sena Party, he was seen referring to August 15 and January 26 separately several times, with regard to payment of money to gram panchayats.

At one particular instance, he indeed said August 15 and Gana Tantra Dinotsavam together, but he was clearly explaining them as two separate events, for which enhanced money is being released to panchayats.

But the trollers took advantage of the reference he made to the two events without taking much gap led to the impression that he was asking the people to celebrate R-Day on I-day.
