After being in hibernation for over two weeks, power star and Jana Sena Party founder-president Pawan Kalyan surfaced again on Thursday in Vijayawada.
He held a meeting with all the defeated party candidates and other party leaders at Mangalagiri party office. He said he had learnt a lesson from the recent elections.
“For me, it is not a defeat, but an experience. I still feel we have won the people’s support which was evident from the way we got over 6.7 per cent votes,” he said.
Stating that some strong political forces were responsible for Jana Sena’s debacle in the elections, Pawan said he was prepared to wage a long term battle.
“We shall keep in mind the target for the next 10 years. Only those who have patience and will power can sail with me in this long journey,” he said.
The Jana Sena party chief announced that he was planning to bring out a fortnightly journal on behalf of the party to bring to the notice of the people and the party workers about the party programmes, policies, action plans and his messages from time to time.
“I am going to appoint a committee to decide the structure and content of the magazine. It will also comprise views of various intellectuals in the country and also abroad and also that of party leaders and workers. It will also have debates over various programmes and schemes being implemented across the country,” he said.
The magazine will be released in the first week of September.
“Apart from the print edition, it will also have an e-magazine in digital form,” he asserted.
