The legal notice sent by Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan to several media houses, including digital media and social media, on the charges of spreading false news about the alleged divorce between him and his third wife Anna Lezhnova, has come as a big surprise.
In a statement on Friday, Jana Sena Party’s legal cell said notices were being issued to news websites and social media for circulating false news and rumours about family relations of Pawan Kalyan with his wife Anna Konidela.
Stating that such rumours are being spread with mala fide intention to create havoc in the minds of Pawan’s followers and Jana Sena activists, the statement said there are some vested interests behind it, conspiring to humiliate party cadre and create disturbance in public peace.
The legal cell demanded an unconditional apology from such media failing which it said it would be constrained to take legal action against them, by filing cases under various sections of IPC.
The notices were sent, among others, to greatandhra.com as well.
It was rather surprising why Pawan Kalyan’s team chose some select individuals and media houses like greatandhra.com, though the news about alleged divorce was carried by many other mainstream media, including TV9, ETV, TV5 and even national media websites.
If greatandhra.com has hatched a conspiracy deliberately, what about these channels and national media websites?
Of course, some channels like TV5 and ETV have removed the rumours about the alleged divorce between Pawan and Anna subsequently, but the damage has already been done as the message had gone into the people.
In fact, greatandhra.com reported the news very cautiously. It only said Pawan Kalyan and his third wife are believed to be socially separated, though not legally.
We also said it is a personal matter concerning Pawan Kalyan and it should not concern others and suggested that the couple should make a public statement to clear the air.
So, why should Pawan Kalyan target greatandhra.com? Such reports concerning the celebrities are very common, as has happened in the case of Niharika Konidela and Samantha as well!
