Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has once again reiterated that he has no ambition to become Chief Minister — at least for the next 10 to 15 years.
Participating in several development programs in Alluri Sitarama Raju district on Monday, Pawan Kalyan emphasized that the current Telugu Desam Party-led coalition would provide a stable government for the next 15 years in Andhra Pradesh.
He expressed full confidence in Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s vision for the state.
“We are reaching out to the people and understanding their hardships. Our goal is to ensure the state’s comprehensive development,” he affirmed.
Pawan Kalyan said he and the Chief Minister are working in close coordination, especially on projects aimed at improving infrastructure in tribal areas.
“When I brought to the Chief Minister’s notice the need to enhance road connectivity in tribal regions, he immediately agreed and sanctioned the necessary funds,” he noted, thanking Naidu for his swift action.
He also shared his vision of developing Araku into a major tourism hub. Drawing a stark comparison between the current and previous governments, he said: “While the YSRCP government laid just 90 kilometers of roads, the NDA alliance has completed 1,069 kilometers in just eight months. That’s the real difference between the two administrations.”
Pawan Kalyan stressed that despite receiving fewer votes from this region, the government remains fully committed to its development.
“Out of 3,700 villages in the state, 1,177 tribal habitations still lack proper road connectivity,” he pointed out, adding that ₹1,005 crore has been allocated to address this issue. “We are ensuring that every rupee is spent responsibly.”
He assured tribal communities of the government’s support in their ongoing struggles.
“To develop Araku into a national tourism destination, I will hold detailed discussions with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Tourism Minister Durgesh,” he concluded.
