It appears Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan is not a man in hurry to become the next chief minister of the state. In fact, he doesn’t seem to have intention to be in the hot seat for another 10 years at least.
It was evident from the way Pawan Kalyan showered praises on the leadership and vision of Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Highlighting the coalition government's achievements within 150 days, Pawan expressed unwavering confidence in Chandrababu Naidu's governance and future plans.
Extending his full support for Naidu, Pawan Kalyan said: “We are committed to fulfilling our responsibilities as per Chandrababu Naidu's vision. We are ready to work towards achieving his dreams for Andhra Pradesh. Not just five years, Chandrababu Naidu should remain as the chief minister for the next ten years to continue this progress.”
The deputy chief minister said that Naidu's leadership had instilled confidence in the state's future, asserting that under the current government, Andhra Pradesh is on track to achieve a trillion-dollar economy.
He lauded Chandrababu's leadership during crises, such as managing the Vijayawada floods, as exemplary for any leader.
He asked Naidu to sustain his inspiring leadership, stating that his vision is pivotal for the state's continued progress.
Pawan Kalyan's remarks advocating Chandrababu Naidu's leadership for another decade have sparked a new political debate.
Analysts and political circles are now questioning the deeper implications of his statements and their potential impact on state politics.
