Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan submitted his nomination papers to contest from the Pithapuram Assembly constituency in Kakinada, East Godavari district, on Tuesday.
As the president of Jana Sena, Pawan Kalyan led a massive rally from his residence in Chebrolu to the office of the returning officer (RO) in Pithapuram where he filed his nomination.
The rally attracted a large number of party supporters who enthusiastically participated, waving party flags and accompanying Pawan Kalyan on motorcycles and cars throughout the route.
The air resonated with chants of ‘Jai Pawan Kalyan… Jai Jana Sena…’ as the procession made its way through the main streets of Pithapuram and its vicinity, culminating at the Paadagaya Keshtram where Pawan Kalyan submitted his nomination paper.
