Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan had made personal telephone calls to the opposition party leaders inviting them to join his long march to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 3.
Pawan Kalyan invited BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana, Congress vice-president N Tulasi Reddy, CPI secretary K Ramakrishna and CPM secretary P Madhu.
The leaders have reportedly responded positively to the Jana Sena chief’s invitation.
However, they told the Jana Sena chief that they would discuss the issue within the party before taking a call.
Sources say that Kanna Lakshminarayana had agreed to depute one of the party senior leaders to join the long march.
The long march is organized to protest against the non-availability of sand in the State.
The Jana Sena chief and his party leaders are mobilizing a large number of construction workers to participate in the long march.
If the Jana Sena chief gets the Opposition party leaders too in his support, the party leaders believe that the long march would be the stepping stone for the party to build it after its debacle in the 2019 general elections.
