The Paritala family had a political grip over their area when Ravindra was alive. Eventually the hold of their family is loosening and now it is worse.
Paritala Sunitha and her son Paritala Sriram took up the responsibility as the in-charge of Dharmavaram and Raptadu respectively for the Panchayat elections.
But much to the shock, out of 70 Panchayatis in Dharmavaram, 63 were won by YSRC candidates. The situation is Raptadu is also something similar.
Ramagiri, the home town of Paritala family, was also captured by the candidates supported by YSRC. It can be understood as the checkmate to 26 years of Paritala family's image in that area.
Even the Panchayatis of Perooru, Kuntimaddi, Polepalli, Kondapuram, Ganthimarri, Cherlopalli and MC Palli also were won by the candidates supported by YSRC.
Similarly the other senior TDP leaders like Payyavula Keshav and ex Minister Kalva Srinivas have also seen the bitterness of losing their hold on the area amidst YSRC wave.
