It is an open secret that popular political strategist and founder of Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) Prashant Kishor, who had worked for the victory of YSR Congress party led by Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in 2019 elections in Andhra Pradesh, has now turned anti-Jagan these days.
Indirectly or directly, Prashant Kishor is making statements that might help the Telugu Desam Party in the elections.
The other day, he made a bold statement saying Jagan is going to lose the upcoming elections with a big margin, as he had miserably failed as the chief minister.
While the TDP leaders took the best advantage of his statements, they evoked strong reaction from the YSRCP leaders, who went hammer and tongs at him, saying all his recent predictions in other states had gone wrong, as he had failed to read the people’s pulse.
After the TDP, it is now the turn of Jana Sena Party led by power star Pawan Kalyan, to fire at the YSRCP from the shoulders of Prashant Kishor.
On Friday, the Jana Sena Party posted an old video of Prashant Kishor on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to target the YSRCP.
The video shows Prashant Kishor telling the anchor in a television show that in 2017, several YSRCP leaders had thought of forging an alliance with Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party and advised him to work it out.
“It was perhaps in August 2017, when the YSRCP lost the by-election in Nandyal assembly constituency. Several YSRCP leaders and sympathisers suggested to me to explore the possibility of forging an alliance with Pawan Kalyan,” Prashant Kishor said in the video.
However, the video doesn’t have further details, like what Prashant Kishor reacted to the advice of the YSRCP leaders, what Jagan had said and why the party finally did not go in for an alliance with Pawan Kalyan.
It is not immediately known when and where Prashant Kishor made these comments and what television channel it was. But it is very clear that Jana Sena Party shared the video only to embarrass the YSRCP and to defend the alliance with the TDP.
