"YSRCP leaders are intimidated by me. They quiver when they look at me"- there are the boasting lines from Lokesh during his padayatra which are ending up as hilarious comedy.
On the other hand, his speeches during the Padayatra are characterized by the use of terms like "Pandimutlu," "Chandrababu Panala," "Prashantha Atta," etc.
Lokesh is proving himself as a source of entertainment than anything else with these acts. He repeatedly claimed that YS Jagan is intimidated by him, but is this really the case? What is there to fear?
Jagan is the leader who established his own party against Sonia Gandhi and won the Kadapa MP seat with a historic majority. Why would he be afraid of Lokesh, who secured a ministerial position as a nominated MLC during his father's tenure as Chief Minister but failed to win as an MLA in the election?
Where is the Jagan who won with a resounding majority? And where is Lokesh, who could not win as an MLA despite being a MLC-Minister and CM's son?
The disparity between these two is evident in their political standing.
Jagan has proven to be just as popular as his father, making a name for himself in the political history of Andhra Pradesh with his connection to the people and his widespread popularity.
Whether Jagan will win again in the next election and if Chandrababu will become the CM once more is a separate matter altogether. Jagan is a unique figure in the country's political history. If a leader of his caliber were to emerge from a northern state, there would be much discussion about his political acumen throughout India.
Many political leaders in the country have started their regional parties. But only a few could succeed. But many continue gaining support from national parties in a short period of time, while others struggle to gain popularity and fade away. Some maintain silence taking up an MP seat, while others rely on caste-based support to remain in contention for years.
In the last two decades, Mamata Banerjee, KCR, Arvind Kejriwal, and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are the only ones to have made a mark with regional parties. Jagan's reign is unparalleled in the country.
Lokesh's assertion that Jagan is scared of him is simply absurd, as if the public is unaware of both Jagan and Lokesh. It's pure comedy.
Lokesh may believe that such statements will elevate his status, but when will CBN's son realize that he is becoming a competitor to KA Paul if he continues to make these statements on a daily basis?
