Andhra Pradesh state panchayat raj and rural development minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy continued to attack state election commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar with choicest epithets.
Reacting strongly to the orders issued by Nimmagadda for his house-arrest for allegedly threatening the district officials, Peddireddy described the orders as atrocious and silly. He said nobody would follow the SEC orders.
“Nimmagadda is a mad fellow. Nobody will take his orders seriously. He should realise that none of his orders is being implemented at all. The officials don’t have to worry about his orders, but follow only the government directions,” Peddireddy said.
He alleged that the SEC was acting under the directions of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu.
“Nimmagadda is misusing his powers as SEC. He is a peon working for Chandrababu Naidu,” he said.
Stating that Nimmadda would have to repent in future for what he is doing now.
“He is stupid and he is growing mad like his friend Naidu. So, there is no need to follow his orders,” the minister said.
