Nimmagadda episode: Why Raju is so excited?

Nimmagadda episode: Why Raju is so excited?

One can understand TDP led by former Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu being jubilant over Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan directing the Jagan Mohan Reddy government to follow the high court directions on the reinstatement of retired IAS officer Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar.

For, any negative development against the Jagan government is a matter of rejoice for the TDP. Moreover, Nimmagadda belongs to the same social segment of Naidu and hence, was favouring the TDP, as alleged by the YSRC leaders.

But one fails to understand why YSR Congress party MP from Narasapuram parliamentary constituency Kanumuru Raghurama Krishnam Raju was so happy over the Governor’s directions to the Jagan government.

Much before the TDP reacted on the episode, Raghurama Krishnam Raju tweeted: “Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh Shri Biswabhushan Harichandan ji has given a good direction to the state government to follow the Hon’ble High Court order. I’m sure our Government will not challenge our Hon’ble Governor’s direction/order and allow Shri Ramesh Kumar to function as SEC.”

Apparently, Raju does not want to lose any chance to irritate the YSRC and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, so that the latter would either suspend or expel him from the party. That paves way for his defection to the Bharatiya Janata Party.

On Tuesday, too, Raju gave a lengthy complaint to President of India Ramnath Kovind against the Jagan government for deciding to create three capital cities for Andhra Pradesh.

He strongly expressed his support to the agitation of the farmers to retain Amaravati as the capital region.
