Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu seems to be getting the much-needed break from his hectic politics in the state during his short visit to the United States.
Naidu, along with his wife Bhuvaneshwari, went to the US on July 28 for a thorough medical check-up.
The TDP sources said it was a routine check-up for Naidu and there were no serious medical complications for him.
Apparently, he does not want to get into media limelight for undergoing medical check-up in Hyderabad or elsewhere in India.
Apart from undergoing medical examination, Naidu seems to be thoroughly enjoying the life of a common man on the alien land.
The other day, he was seen having breakfast or lunch at a restaurant in the US (It looks like a city in the east coast of the US), quietly along with his wife, which is definitely not possible in Vijayawada or Hyderabad.
On Friday, videos of Naidu having a stroll on the streets of the US city along with his followers from Telugu Association of North America (TANA) and enjoying street food went viral in the social media and also in television channels.
The video shows Naidu going to a popcorn-selling stall on the street, buying some corn and munching them, while going from one stall to another. The followers were cracking jokes at him, as he did not have his wife beside him.
One of them was found asking Naidu to taste ice-cream, as Madam Bhuvaneshwari was not with him.
Naidu told him something with a smiling face and walked to another shop. Nobody appeared to have identified him, as he was walking along with others.
The TDP chief is expected to be back in India on Saturday and will be back into active politics.
By the way, he did not forget tweeting on the burning issues in Andhra, including termination of contract for Polavaram!
