Naidu ranks 6th in file clearing, Pawan 10th

The Andhra Pradesh cabinet meeting held at Amaravati on Thursday has discussed an interesting issue, with chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu announcing rankings for ministers based on their performance in clearing files.

According to Naidu, state minority welfare minister NMD Farooq was ranked No. 1 in clearing the files, while state tourism minister and Jana Sena Party leader Kandula Durgesh stood in the second position.

State micro, small and medium enterprises minister Kondapalli Srinivas, who is generally considered a weak minister in the Naidu cabinet, got the third position in clearing the flies.

Interestingly, Naidu revealed that he himself ranked sixth; and therefore, he is lagging behind others in disposing of important files. Naidu’s son and state Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh stood in eighth rank.

Jana Sena Party chief and deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan, who is new to administration, has been given the 10th rank. State labour minister Vasamsetty Srinivas stood in the last position in the cabinet.

Stating that the ranking was purely based on file clearance efficiency, Naidu urged ministers to speed up the clearance process.
