Naidu puts up crying face even on a festive day!

At a time when everybody forgets their routine and indulges in celebrations on festive days, Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu doesn’t forget indulging in politics even on such festive occasions.

As all the Telugu people celebrated Bhogi festival on the eve of Sankranti by putting up a bonfire and burning firewood and unwanted material, the TDP chief sought to burn the copies of the controversial government order banning rallies and meetings on public roads.

Naidu, who took part in Bhogi festivities at his native village Naravaripalle in Chittoor district along with his family members, burnt the copy of GO No. 1 in the traditional bonfire to register his protest.

Joined by several local TDP leaders, he threw the copies of the GO into the fire, saying the government was stifling the voice of the opposition. He extended Sankranti greetings to all the Telugus in all parts of the country and abroad.

State minister for mines and energy Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy said it was unfortunate that the TDP chief had put up a crying face even on the festive day.

“He is never a happy man. He is always cribbing on something or the other. Even on the festival day, he chose to cry foul against the government,” Reddy said.

Coming  down heavily on Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu for “levelling baseless allegations” against the YSRCP government “out of sheer frustration” after facing rout in all the elections in the State since 2019.

He lashed out at Naidu for “provoking the cadres” to burn the copies of G.O. No. 1 in the Bhogi bonfire. He is playing cheap politics even on the festive occasion by burning the copies of the government orders in the festival bonfire.

“He had taken the lives of 11 people in stampede at his meetings, because of his publicity craze. When the government brought a GO to impose certain restrictions on holding public meetings at narrow roads, he is crying foul. He doesn’t care about the loss of lives for his politics,” Reddy said.
