It appears the entire family of Telugu Desam Party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is likely to get into action to counter the campaign being unleashed by the YSR Congress party and the state government against him in the skill development corporation scam.
According to party sources, Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari and daughter-in-law Nara Brahmani are planning to take up a door-to-door campaign to explain to the people how he is being targeted by the Jagan government as part of political witch-hunting.
“If necessary, both Bhuvaneshwari and Brahmani will take up padayatra across the state, while Lokesh will take care of the party activities as long as Naidu is in jail. During the padayatra, they will ensure that the TDP will not its momentum ahead of the elections,” sources said.
All these days, Bhuvaneshwari and Brahmani never directly involved in the party activities, except for participation in the election campaign for their husbands in their respective constituencies.
“Now, they will be entering into direction action,” sources said.
At the same time, Naidu’s brother-in-law and TDP legislator from Hindupur Nandamuri Balakrishna is also likely to take up road shows in different parts of the state to launch a tirade against the Jagan government.
Meanwhile, Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan, too, is expected to resume his Varaahi Yatra to sustain the anti-Jagan campaign and in support of Naidu.
It would be interesting to see how the TDP campaign will evoke the response from the people.
