A tweet on social media platform X stating that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is facing threat to his life has created ripples in the political circles.
The tweet, posted by one Chaitanya with the account name Blind Mann on X, attached a video of Naidu, along with his wife Bhuvaneshwari, presenting traditional silk clothes to Lord Venkateshwara on Tirumala on October 4 as part of the Brahmotsavams in the capacity of the chief minister.
The post said: “It is clearly evident that the god also doesn’t like Naidu presenting silk clothes at the Brahotsavams. I am telling again. Naidu definitely has a threat to his life.”
The TTD authorities obviously took serious note of the tweet and lodged a complaint with the police in the Tirupati I-town police station against Chaitanya and others who shared it under various sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita and are investigating.
The TTD authorities said the comment along with the video of Naidu presenting silk clothes to the Lord Venkateshwara would hurt the sentiments of millions of devotees and has damaged the prestige of the Tirumala temple. They wanted stringent action against the person who tweeted the comment.
