For the last three days, senior actor and Jana Sena Party political affairs committee leader Konidela Naga Babu, along with popular comedian of small screen Hyper Adi have been touring different parts of Australia to muster the support of Non-Resident Telugu people for the party.
The two actors, who left for Australia on Wednesday night, would take part in the 10th foundation day celebrations of Jana Sena Party to be organised by NRI members of the party and local women leaders on March 14.
The foundation day celebrations would be held at different places like Sydney. Melbourne and Brisbane for about a week. Naga Babu would also interact with one-on-one meetings with local leaders, besides open interaction with the party workers in these cities.
According to Naga Babu’s post on the social media, he and Hyper Adi had a “productive brainstorming session” held by intellectuals, businessmen, politicians and entrepreneurs at Melbourne on Friday.
“The session was on opportunities in India and expanding Jana Sena's supporters among the Indian diaspora in Australia. They also discussed ways to gain support from Jana Sena activists,” the post said.
At Brisbane, too, there was a good response from the local Jana Sena Party workers, Naga Babu said.
“The Brisbane Jana Sainiks exhibited a remarkable level of vigour and fervour towards the Jana Sena party, as evidenced by their tireless efforts to raise awareness about the upcoming elections and the significance of the NRI vote,” Naga Babu tweeted.
