Cherukuri Ramoji Rao of the Eenadu Group has been spreading lies in Andhra Pradesh to pollute the minds of the people.
At the age of 85 years, Ramoji Rao turns blind to the facts and wants people too to be blind only to see his caste man sitting in power in the state.
He leaves not a single column or single page of his Eenadu paper to spit venom on the government, spread false news and praise the TDP.
The latest such story packed with a bunch of lies was published on Tuesday on Vijayawada Metro rail project.
This old man tried to blame the YSR Congress leadership for the metro rail project not becoming a reality.
Well, what he failed to notice is that there was a question about Vijayawada Metro Rail project in the just-concluded winter session of the Parliament.
TDP member from Rajya Sabha, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, raised the question and Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Kaushal Kishore gave a written reply.
The Minister said that the plans for the urban transport including metro rail are done by the State governments.
Accordingly, the Union government had asked the Andhra Pradesh government on September 1, 2017 to “submit the revised proposals for the project in line with the Metro Rail Policy-2017.”
The Minister further told the TDP MP that “No proposal has been submitted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in this regard.”
While facts being like these, Ramoji Rao sought to blame the Jagan Mohan Reddy government for not sending the revised proposals.
He should know or at least should be told that Chandrababu Naidu was in power from 2017 to 2019 March when the centre asked the government to send the report.
What did Naidu do from September 2017 to March 2019 without sending the reports, Mr Ramoji Rao?
