The YSRCP has leveled fresh criticism against Jana Sena Party President and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
The party has accused TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu of allegedly paying Pawan Kalyan Rs. 50 crore per month to prevent him from questioning the government.
"I don't know where Pawan Kalyan, who used to talk about asking questions, has gone. Why has his voice of dissent fallen silent? This coalition government and Chandrababu are allegedly giving Pawan Kalyan Rs. 50 crore per month to ensure that he doesn't question anything. That's why Pawan has become silent," said YSRCP MLC Duvvada Srinivas, directly accusing Pawan Kalyan.
It appears that the YSRCP has not paid much attention to Pawan Kalyan in recent years, focusing most of its criticism on Chandrababu Naidu and his son, Nara Lokesh.
Although some YSRCP leaders have occasionally criticized Pawan Kalyan, their comments have largely been limited to social media.
However, this marks the first time MLC Duvvada Srinivas has made such an allegation against Pawan Kalyan—an accusation not previously made by anyone else.
It remains to be seen how leaders of the TDP-JSP alliance will respond to this latest controversy.
