The AP CBCID police have served notice to former chief minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on Assignment lands in Amaravati.
He was asked to appear for questioning before them in Amaravati on March 23.
Chandrababu Naidu is now engaged in consultation with senior advocates.
It is said that he is likely to stay from the court directing the CBCID not to process further on the case.
This is what people across the state or those in other places who knew Naidu expecting.
He had already earned a nick name as "Stay Naidu" and "Stay Babu" as he has availed a number of Stay orders from the courts over the years.
Perhaps this is what the ruling YSR Congress also wants from Naidu so that it can further damage his image by calling him Stay Babu.
One wonders what would happen even if he attends questioning by the police?
The option of getting stay is always there and if the police resort to arrest him during the course of questioning, he could as well use it.
But using the stay option even for questioning by the police would cause him further damage and consolidate his nick name as Stay Babu.
