Modi makes a bumper offer to TDP MPs!

In his previous stint, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was generally considered to be inaccessible, even to his own party MPs and ministerial colleagues. He rarely entertained personal requests from any MPs.

However, this time, Modi appears to be a changed man. He is speaking in a friendly tone with all the MPs and is giving them time to meet him and present their issues.

On Wednesday, Modi had a half-hour meeting with Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MPs and had a friendly chat with them.

He offered them an open invitation, stating that he is accessible to them at all times and they can come and meet him whenever they want.

“Just drop in after making a call. If I am not available because of pre-fixed engagements, officials in the PMO will note down your details and inform me. Whenever I become free, I will call you, and if possible, you can come and meet me,” he said.

Modi advised the newly-elected MPs of the TDP to update their knowledge on the subjects that will come up for discussion in the House.

“Parliament is like a university. You need to spend more time there so that you will gain thorough knowledge on various subjects,” he said.

Appreciating their hard work in the recent general elections in Andhra Pradesh, the Prime Minister said the NDA achieved good results in the state because of their efforts.

“Strive hard to bring a good name to the state and the country,” he said.

Modi later tweeted that the Centre would extend all possible help to Andhra Pradesh for its progress.

“Met MP colleagues from @JaiTDP. Our parties are working closely at the Centre and in Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of my friend @ncbn garu. We will do everything possible for the progress of India and the development of AP,” he posted on X.
