Minister terms Naidu, Pawan, Lokesh as comedians

KAKINADA: BC Welfare Minister Chelluboyina Srinivasa Venugopalakrishna has described TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, his son Lokesh, and Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan as "comic actors" who have reduced politics to a farce.

Speaking to reporters in Ramachandrapuram on Thursday, the minister stated that Pawan Kalyan is pompously declaring that no force can prevent him from entering the assembly.

"People already prevented him from entering the assembly in the 2019 elections," he remarked.

Gopalakrishna pointed out that Nara Lokesh, who also faced defeat, is making the same claim. As for Chandrababu Naidu, he expressed confusion over his desire to build a house in Kuppam.

"Has anybody stopped him from building the house?" he asked.

The minister ridiculed Pawan for declaring that he would receive more votes than the total number of voters.

He mentioned that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has allocated 50% of seats to BCs and is striving to improve the livelihoods of the poor in the state.

Gopalakrishna wondered how Pawan Kalyan could ally with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which was responsible for the killing of Kapu leader Vangaveeti Ranga and the insult of Mudragada Padmanabham, a prominent figure among the Kapus.
