The former MP of Eluru and senior TDP leader Maganti Venkateswara Rao alias Babu’s second son, Ravindranath Chowdary, was found dead in a star hotel in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Ravindranath has become alcoholic and is being treated in a hospital in Hyderabad. He was put up in a star hotel during the treatment, sources said.
The young boy was found dead in the swimming pool of the hotel around 7.30 pm, as per a source.
Other sources say that Ravindranath has escaped from the hospital and taken a room in the star hotel. He died of blood vomiting in the hotel and the dead body was sent to the mortuary for post mortem and the police are investigating the case.
However, some reports say that Ravindranath suddenly collapsed at the hospital where he is being treated for drug addiction.
The doctors at the hospital say that the death was caused due to kidney failure.
The boy is aged around 30 years and is not married, the sources confirmed.
Maganti Babu took the business and political mantle from his father late Maganti Ravindranath Chowdary.
After the death of Ravindranath Chowdary, his wife Varalakshmi entered politics and was a minister for some time.
Later, Babu entered politics and won the Assembly and Parliament elections for Congress first and later the TDP.
The year turned out to be unfortunate for the family as they lost the elder son, Maganti Ramchandran first in March this year and the younger one today.
