Among political parties, TDP undeniably enjoys strong support from NRIs, particularly the wealthy community in the USA.
While these individuals earn abroad, their hearts remain loyal to TDP, with many financially supporting the party for decades.
Despite this, not a single official position has been offered to the NRI community, leaving many deeply disappointed.
Several deserving NRIs had anticipated the role of AP NRT Society President. However, to their surprise, the position was given to current minister Kondapalli Srinivas, further shocking the community.
According to reliable sources, this decision stems from Nara Lokesh’s strategic approach. With intense competition among NRIs—each believing they are more deserving than others—appointing one could spark widespread demand from others. Denying such requests could lead to internal discord.
To prevent this, Lokesh reportedly chose not to offer any positions to NRIs during his term. His rationale is straightforward: if one is appointed, others will expect the same, creating chaos.
But if none are chosen, the disappointment remains silent, maintaining internal harmony within the party.
