“China is hit by dangerous Corona virus. It is spreading all over the world destroying people. Similarly, AP has Yellow virus. It is destroying the State and the minds of the people.”
This is what Kodali Nani, AP’s Minister for Civil Supplies and a known critic of TDP, particularly its chief Chandrababu Naidu, said on Sunday.
The Minister was speaking about the distribution of pensions to the beneficiaries in the State in on the first day of the month in the first two hours.
The Minister said that the pension had reached every house and every beneficiary across the State was happy.
“There was no need of the aged persons to stand in queues at the government office to get the pension. There was no pain of heat or thirsty. The beneficiaries have received the monthly pension at their door step. In some cases, the volunteers were early at the door of the beneficiary even before the beneficiary woke up from sleep in the morning,” the Minister said.
However, he regretted that the TDP and the yellow media were criticising the government.
“The yellow virus is turning dangerous for the state and the people,” the Minister asserted.
He further claimed that the virus, even after defeat in the 2019 general elections, was spreading fast polluting the minds of the people.
He took a dig at the yellow media projecting Amaravati agitation as one of the historic and great in these days.
The Minister said that there were not even a 100 people in the protests being organised in the name of Amaravati farmers. But, the media claims it and makes people all over the state to believe as if there are lakhs and crores of people protesting, he said.
The Minister wanted the people to give one more dose of medicine in the 2024 general elections and see that the yellow virus is completely eradicated in the state.
The Minister said that the eradication of the yellow virus was need of the people as it was polluting the state and the people as well.
