Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao still has a huge fan following in Andhra Pradesh, notwithstanding the anger that he was responsible for the bifurcation of combined Andhra Pradesh nearly seven years ago.
The craze for KCR in Andhra was evident from the way big hoardings were put up at different parts of Visakhapatnam on the occasion of his birthday on Wednesday.
At Achyutapuram area, flex boards were erected, extending greetings to the Telangana CM on his 67th birthday. The boards were erected in the name of Kalvakuntla Ravikishan Rao and Lalam Chandu.
Not only KCR, the flex boards have the photographs of his son K T Rama Rao and daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha. The fans of KCR also took up massive tree plantations in different parts of the city.
The hoardings and flex boards caught the attention of even YSR Congress party president and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy who visited Visakhapatnam on Wednesday afternoon, leading to interesting discussion among the people.
At Kadiam nursery of East Godavari district, owners of Venkanan Nursery extended their wishes to the Telangana chief minister in a unique manner. They made a portrait of KCR with colourful flowers in a creative manner and expressed their affection towards him.
