The yellow party and the yellow media were taken aback when Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy went hard against them.
Jagan Mohan Reddy hit hard at his critics for their uncharitable remarks against the volunteers.
He used the Venkatagiri public meeting to turn the tables on his rivals and targeted Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, his son Lokesh, and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna.
He strongly objected to these leaders talking about the safety, security, and honor of women and accusing the volunteers of aiding women trafficking in the state.
Jagan Mohan Reddy referred to three marriages of Pawan Kalyan and liquor parties in a swimming pool with women by Lokesh to question their respect for women.
The chief minister also quoted a statement by Balakrishna at one of the film functions where he said that women are useful either to kiss or to impregnate.
He also quoted Chandrababu Naidu's statement during his interview in Balakrishna’s TV show, where Naidu said he teased girls during his college days.
This was like hitting them below the belt, and it was necessary too, as the critics were going personal against Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The yellow camp was in shock as they did not carry his speech in the print media but had debates in the electronic media to condemn it.
ABN Radha Krishna did not even report the chief minister’s program but gave a negative report on his speech, finding fault with it.
Radha Krishna did not find fault with Naidu, Pawan, or Lokesh when they called the chief minister by name and hurled abuses at him.
When Jagan gave them a fitting reply, Radha Krishna talks about values!
That is the yellow situation in Andhra Pradesh today!
