Jagan to celebrate 25th marriage day in Europe!

After being involved in hectic activity in running the government for the last two years, YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has at last decided to take a break.

The occasion is the silver jubilee marriage anniversary of Jagan and Bharati Reddy, which falls on August 28. The marriage was held at Pulivendula on this day in 1996 amidst a lot of fanfare.

Though the couple used to spend leisure time on their wedding anniversary every year initially, Jagan has not been able to find time for the last two years, after he took over as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

He has been busy with his official and party programmes all these days. He has been mostly confined to his residence-cum-camp office at Tadepalli in the last one and a half years due to Coronavirus pandemic. Only in the recent past, Jagan had been going on field visits to districts.

The only time Jagan and Bharati went out of the town was a couple of years ago to the US after getting their daughter admitted to the post-graduate college at Paris. He even addressed the Telugu NRIs at Dallas in USA. After that, Jagan hardly stepped out of his house.

Now, Jagan is leaving for Europe trip on August 26 to celebrate his 25th wedding anniversary along with his family.

Sources said the couple would go to London and later Paris, where they would celebrate the silver jubilee of their wedding. They are expected to return to Vijayawada on August 29.

Sources said the Europe trip of Jagan and Bharati would be purely personal and they would be incurring their personal expenditure on the trip. So, there is nothing official about it!
