Former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy faces political criticism after reports emerged that he plans to attend upcoming assembly sessions.
Previously, Jagan stated he would boycott sessions due to not being granted opposition status. However, his change of mind has triggered attacks from political rivals.
Speculation that Jagan is acting out of fear began after Deputy Speaker Raghuramakrishnam Raju warned of disqualification and a by-election in Pulivendula if he skipped sessions.
The TDP media claims Jagan is attending solely to avoid disqualification, dismissing his stance on opposition status.
Earlier Jagan responded firmly, stating such warnings do not concern him and that he will act independently. But after that there is talk that Jagan is attending Assembly, and so criticism persists.
Meanwhile, YSRCP leaders indicate that Jagan’s attendance remains undecided. They suggest the matter is still under discussion and that a final decision will be made after Jagan returns from Bangalore.
If Jagan attends only the governor’s speech, it may bolster the TDP’s claims of fear-driven attendance.
What will Jagan decide? The political arena awaits his next move.
