Jagan Still In The Darkness Of His Coterie

Jagan Still In The Darkness Of His Coterie

Meeting former Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has become a daunting task. Even after the YSRCP’s crushing defeat, questions have arisen about his limited accessibility.

Many YSRCP activists and second-tier leaders wonder why Jagan remains uninformed about what is actually happening outside.

During the YSRCP’s tenure, only top officials and a handful of senior leaders had direct access to Jagan.

Now, after the electoral loss, constituency in-charges, activists and second-tier leaders are pressing the 10 remaining MLAs to arrange meetings.

However, insiders at the YSRCP camp office claim Jagan’s schedule has become more restrictive post-defeat.

He reportedly spends three days in Tadepalli and four days in Bengaluru, meeting only key leaders in Tadepalli while avoiding party interactions in Bengaluru.

Criticism is mounting that the doors of Jagan are open only for a selected few brokers whether he is in power or not.

Many loyal YSRCP members now face prolonged delays—up to two or three months—to secure a meeting, by placating and pampering a few who surrounded Jagan.

Some are saying that they are losing interest to meet Jagan.

Frustration is growing among supporters, some of whom feel neglected and question Jagan’s awareness of the ground reality. This disconnect risks further alienating his base.
