Jagan Remains Silent on HC Order

The high court order directing the state government to provide infrastructure in Amaravati in six months and handover the developed plots to the farmers in three months had raised a lot of dust across the state on Thursday.

Every political party in the state had made a statement welcoming the high court order.

The Amaravati JAC leaders have celebrated it and even offered special thanks to the court by kneeling down and bowing before the high court building.

There was sort of elation in the TDP office, while the party ranks celebrated it.

The critics of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy have termed the court order as yet another slap.

Some asked Jagan to accept the HC order and develop Amaravati or quit his post, seek re-election.

There were some, who wanted Jagan to tender open apology to the people for wasting three years of precious time.

But, there was absolute silence from the government side except Minister Botsa Satyanarayana reiterating the government’s commitment on three capitals.

There are reports saying that Jagan closeted with his ministers and senior officials to find a way out.

But, surprisingly for everyone, including his admirers, Jagan Mohan Reddy, remained silent, not giving any scope to anyone on what was going through his mind.
