AP chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had told the officials to establish two junior colleges in every mandal.
He also told them to ensure that one college is exclusively for girls and the other is for coeducation.
The chief minister asked the officials to identify major villages in every mandal to have one junior college and mandal headquarter town to have another junior college.
Jagan Mohan Reddy also told them to provide uninterrupted internet facility to every junior college, along with the schools.
The chief minister had also asked the officials to prepare a project report to digitalise the classrooms and extend the Byjus content to the junior college students.
Jagan Mohan Reddy had also sanctioned one night watchman post for every junior college and told the officials to appoint them from the day one of starting the work for the junior college.
He told them to identify the high school buildings in every mandal to have the junior college.
Wherever there are no high schools available, he told the officials to acquire lands, construct buildings under Nadu-Nedu programme.
The Nadu-Nedu initiative of Jagan Mohan Reddy government had earned the goodwill from the people as the schools and the hospitals developed under the programme stand as testimony to his work in the last four years.
