It is very difficult to understand YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for those who see him from a distance, but for those who watch him in close quarters, he is the most lovable person.
This was the opinion expressed by senior writer-turned-actor-cum-politician Posani Krishna Murali.
He told reporters at Tirumala, after having the darshan of Lord Venkateshwara on Tuesday that many people talk many things about the personality of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“People may say Jagan is like a Brahma Padartham (an enigma), which cannot be understood so easily. They say it is difficult to read his mind. But I can say only one thing about Jagan, whenever I am asked. For me, he is like a “prasadam” offered in a temple. So sacred and sweet,” Posani said.
He said the opposition parties would continue to try to corner the chief minister every day, but it was not possible for them to do so.
“He is a tough man. Many people might say many things about him, but he is a man of conviction,” the actor said.
With regard to the recent cinema ticket controversy, Posani said the opposition parties, outsiders and film industry people accused the chief minister in various ways. But what came out ultimately was a favourable decision for the film industry as well as the audiences,” he said.
The government has resolved the issue amicably keeping in view the hardship of the industry and without causing a burden on the common people.
