Jagan, Naidu To Be In One Meeting Today

Jagan, Naidu To Be In One Meeting Today

Perhaps for the first time after Jagan Mohan Reddy launched his political party in 2010, he would be sharing a meeting hall along with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in New Delhi today.

The two leaders have not seen eye to eye except in the Assembly. This too was stopped after Naidu announcing his boycott of the Assembly in the Budget session.

The two leaders are locked in a tough battle ahead of the 2024 general elections.

While Jagan Mohan Reddy had set to fight the electoral battle with a target of winning all 175 Assembly constituencies, Chandrababu Naidu is leaving no stone unturned to wrest power.

In the toughest battles ahead, the two leaders are scheduled to attend an all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The meeting is to discuss the agenda for the G20 nation’s conference to be held in the country in 2023 with Narendra Modi elected as its chief.

The two leaders would be interacting with the Prime Minister either before or after the meeting.

While Jagan Mohan Reddy is friendly with the Prime Minister and the BJP leadership, Chandrababu Naidu is trying to be friendly with the BJP after he broke the alliance in 2018.

However, what is more interesting is whether both Jagan Mohan Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu would at least greet each other when they enter the conference hall!
