Jagan Brings Good News For Vijayawadites

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had given a good news for the people of Vijayawada, particularly from the Rajarajeswaripet area in the city.

The people have been living on the railway land for the past 30 years and have built houses there.

The railway land too was of not much use for the railways, who could not make any attempt to use it for the department in the past three decades.

The residents, who are spread over 800 families, have been making representations to the state government and the railway officials for regularisation of the house sites.

As the city goes for the civic polls, the chief minister took the initiative and wrote a letter to Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.

The chief minister offered suitable land at Ajitisingh Nagar as compensation to the railways land at Rajarajeswaripet.

The chief minister said that initial inspections were already over with the railway officials from Vijayawada inspecting the land and expressing satisfaction.

Jagan Mohan Reddy wanted the railway minister to clear the proposal so that the state government would regularise the houses for the 800 families.

The people of Rajarajeswaripet area in the city have been making repeated requests for the past 20 years and their owes are coming to an end with Jagan Mohan Reddy’s initiative.
