Jagan announces party organisational structure!

At last, YSR Congress party president and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has recognized the necessity of establishing a full-fledged organizational structure for the party, which is essential for building a state-wide network.

On Monday, Jagan issued a 33-page letter to party leaders and cadres, outlining the draft for the organizational structure at all levels—from village to mandal, district, constituency, and state levels—and requested their suggestions on it.

According to the proposed structure, the party will have a state committee led by the party president (Jagan Mohan Reddy), who will be supported by a political advisory committee, a state executive committee, and a state committee.

The state executive committee will consist of 11 general secretaries, 22 secretaries, 15 official spokespersons, and one treasurer.

The state committee will also include 44 joint secretaries, the presidents of all affiliated organizations, district party presidents, and state committee members.

Six of the 11 general secretaries will serve as regional coordinators, while the remaining five will oversee party organization, program coordination, media and social media, legal matters, and affiliated organizations.

Additionally, a state-level committee with 87 members will be set up to supervise the party’s affiliated organizations.

At the district level, the party committee will include a president, vice presidents representing each assembly constituency within the district, five general secretaries, organizational and activity secretaries, official spokespersons, a treasurer, and executive committee members.

Similar structures will be established for town, city, mandal, village, and constituency committees.
