The Chandrababu Naidu government held three investment summits between 2014 and 2019. Two summits were held in Visakhapatnam and one in Vijayawada.
Among others, there were cashew vendors and bakers who signed MoUs worth Rs 32 lakh crore in investments.
Several investors signed the MoUs while sitting on the floor, and this was projected on the front pages of the yellow media.
Shockingly and surprisingly, not many of these investments have become a reality, let alone the investments from the bakers and cashew vendors.
However, the first-ever summit by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government in Visakhapatnam signed MoUs worth a potential investment of Rs 13.37 lakh crore.
The summit was attended by big names in the Indian investment sector such as Ambanis, Adanis, Jindals, Bajajs, Dalmias, and Oberais. This was significant, as it was the first time Mukesh Ambani had attended a summit in the southern states.
The yellow media and the yellow party are unable to digest this practical summit, unlike Naidu’s fake summit.
The presence of such big names in the Indian investment sector on the Visakhapatnam dais shows that Jagan is a man of action and not just words.
This is clearly understood by the people, and whatever the yellow media writes or the yellow party speaks goes ignored or heckled at the grassroots.
