Vijayawada: Some people are born on this planet for a purpose. As far as former Irrigation Minister of the TDP, Devineni Uma is concerned, he was born only to hurl invective at YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Addressing the media, Uma as usual lashed out at Jagan and the YSRCP and expresed lament at the fact that not a single work has been done on Polavaram in the last four months.
After coming to power, Jagan called for reverse tendering of Polavaram works as there was large scale corruption in the earlier regime. This reverse tendering has saved a lot of money for the State.
Besides, Jagan's government is only four months old. Should it not be given sufficient time to make its mark?
Ultimately, no government anywhere is 100 percent perfect. But what the people eventually look at is whether the pluses outweigh the minuses at the end of the government's tenure.
So, is this fair on the part of Uma to be passing judgement on the new government within just four months considering that the TDP did pretty much nothing in a span of five years?
