Vemuri Radhakrishna's ABN channel made headlines with its comments about Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
ABN's coverage mentioned that Pawan was walking up the Tirumala steps faster than his security personnel. Pawan's fans perceived this as satire by ABN, as many witnessed what had actually happened.
Jana Sena supporters and leaders are upset, claiming the channel made sarcastic remarks about their leader's walk along the Alipiri trail to reach Tirumala.
Netizens are reportedly mocking ABN's comments about Pawan's walk.
Meanwhile, Jana Sena supporters are criticizing an article in Andhra Jyothi paper, which they feel was written to ridicule Pawan's pilgrimage walk, contrary to the channel's portrayal.
The ABN channel reportedly made sarcastic remarks, stating, "Pawan is walking faster than the security," while the newspaper presented it more negatively. The newspaper allegedly claimed that Pawan "suffered greatly" during the walk, providing details of how he walked comfortably until Mokalla Parvatam, after which he became exhausted. According to the article, at one point, arrangements were made to transport him to Tirumala in a vehicle.
Videos released online show Pawan Kalyan struggling to climb the hill, taking frequent breaks every few steps before finally reaching the top.
It reportedly took him over five hours to complete the climb, leading to online trolling about his lack of stamina.
