Actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan regularly lands in soup with his lack of knowledge on many basic aspects.
This time, however, he is getting trolled heavily as he mentioned in his recent speech that India got independence in 1940.
Yes, you have read it right! He said that India secured from freedom from the British rule in the year 1940.
The Jana Sena president caught on record making this blunder mistake.

While slamming the 100 days rule of AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Pawan Kalyan in his usual style dismissed the ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme as an achievement of this government.
He went to add that we already have the constitutional provision of the Right to Education since 1940, the day we got Independence.
He added that there is no need for the ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme that grants annual financial assistance of Rs.15000 to each mother who sends her wards to school or college.
Not only that he got the date of our Independence day, but he also erred about the Right to Education act. Article 21 (A) aka Right to Education came into force in 2010.
And we don’t need to mention when we got Independence. With such poor knowledge, Pawan Kalyan talks about all things in a lofty manner.
Pawan Kalyan discontinued his studies after failing in the intermediate examination.
So, trollers are referring to this saying that no wonder he had failed in class 12 with such brain. Social media is full of memes on this topic.
