I-PAC giving more publicity to TDP than YSRCP

I-PAC giving more publicity to TDP than YSRCP

It is quite common for political parties to criticize each other before elections and take advantage of internal conflicts in rival parties, which is understandable.

However, the task of political strategists is to build the image of the parties and their leaders, focusing on strategies to improve the electoral prospects of their clients rather than targeting the internal issues of rival parties.

The Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC) seems to have overlooked this fundamental aspect of political strategies.

The I-PAC team appears to rely on crude techniques to undermine opposition parties rather than devising plans to enhance the YSR Congress party's chances of victory in Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming elections.

The I-PAC media team has been sending edited video clips and distorted news about the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena Party, attempting to portray that both parties are falling apart due to internal differences.

On Monday, the I-PAC team sent a video clip and distorted information to several media persons, suggesting that the TDP-Jana Sena rift is out in the open.

It was related to some commotion at the “Raa Kadali Raa” meeting of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu in Rajahmundry.

The news clip with the headline: “TDP-JSP ON SHAKY GROUND, CAN COLLAPSE ANY MINUTE NOW!” sent by the I-PAC claimed there was total chaos at Naidu’s meeting, where TDP leader Boddu Venkata Ramana's supporters protested against Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan's decision to unilaterally allocate the Rajanagaram assembly segment to a JSP candidate.

“The two sides literally came to blows to an extent that Naidu was about to fall off the stage,” the I-PAC said in its information sent to the media.

Even if it is a fact, it is not the duty of the I-PAC to publicize it, as it is purely an internal matter of the TDP and Jana Sena.

Similarly, I-PAC released another video clip to the media, stating: “TDP leader accepts CM Jagan is the only leader who can build AP.”

It is about a slip of the tongue by former TDP MLA Alapati Rajendra Prasad at the Rajahmundry meeting.

He was heard saying: "Jagan is the only leader who can develop Andhra Pradesh." Needless to say, he was speaking about Naidu, but in a slip of the tongue, he took Jagan’s name.

A couple of days ago, too, the I-PAC team gave too much publicity to Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan announcing the names of two candidates in retaliation to Naidu’s announcement of two candidates, violating the alliance dharma.
