Vijayawada MP from the TDP, Kesineni Nani, has once again made a controversial statement, hitting the bullseye.
"I don't care if the party nominates any Tom, Dick, and Harry from Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat in the next election," he said during his brief interaction with the media in Mylavaram town of NTR district on Wednesday.
He further stated that he would even contest the next election as an independent candidate or join any party that aligns with his plans for Vijayawada's development.
This indicates that the TDP has nearly closed its doors on him and is considering replacing him with his own brother, Kesineni Sivanadh (Chinni).
The MP has distanced himself from the party for some time now as the top leadership is favoring his brother over him.
He did not even attend the party's two-day Mahanadu but was seen garlanding the statue of NTR in Parliament on May 28.
He appears to be disillusioned with the leadership's disregard or support for rivalry against him in the constituency.
Last week, Kesineni Nani shared the dais with YSRCP MLA Dr. M Jaganmohan Rao from Nandigama in the NTR district.
He expressed his willingness to collaborate with anyone who supports him in developing the seven Assembly constituencies that are part of his Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency.
Meanwhile, it is interesting to note that YSR Congress MP Alla Ayodhyarami Reddy has welcomed Kesineni Nani to join the party.
"We welcome leaders like Kesineni who always work for the development of the constituency," Ayodhyarami Reddy said.
It remains to be seen what decision Kesineni Nani will make as it appears that the TDP has closed its doors on him!
