Andhra Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy concluded his 22-day "Memantha Siddham" bus yatra on Wednesday evening with a massive public meeting organized by the YSRCP in Tekkali, Srikakulam district.
Throughout his election campaign in the past few weeks, the YSRCP chief covered 2,100 kilometers, spanning over 86 assembly constituencies, and addressed 18 public meetings.
Speaking to a vast crowd at the public meeting in Tekkali, he urged people to aim for a double century by winning 175 Assembly seats and 25 Parliament constituencies in the general elections.
Highlighting the YSRCP government's historic achievement of implementing welfare schemes worth Rs. 2.50 lakh crore for the people, Jagan asserted that even amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, his government ensured the welfare of the beneficiaries.
Launching a scathing attack on former Chief Minister and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, Jagan Mohan Reddy vowed to continue delivering welfare schemes if re-elected.
He warned that if Naidu returned to power, he would halt all ongoing schemes and betray the people.
"He (Naidu) needed two other parties to fight against me, and nowadays, all he does is hurl abuses at me," Jagan remarked.
Emphasizing the YSRCP's commitment to its manifesto, Jagan reminded the audience of the numerous reformative initiatives introduced during the party's tenure.
He challenged anyone to name a single significant scheme implemented by Naidu during his time in office.
