Though TDP suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of YSRCP in AP Assembly poll results today, actor Balakrisha managed to win from Hindupur Assembly seat from TDP overcoming the strong 'Jagan wave'.
However, Balayya received a jolt as both his sons-in-law lost elections.
Balayya's first son in law and TDP chief, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's son Nara Lokesh lost in Mangalagiri Assembly seat to YSRCP.
Balayya's second son in law Sri Bharat also lost to YSRCP from Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha seat.
Though all pre and post poll surveys predicted Balakrishna to lose Hindupur seat, he emerged victorious in the end.
