Has Pawan Kalyan been gang-raped?

The way opposition leaders, particularly Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, called on Tollywood actor and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan at Vijayawada on his return from Visakhapatnam, evoked sharp reaction from YSR Congress party.

Known for his pungent attack on the political rivals, YSRC leader and state minister for industries Gudivada Amarnath wondered why Naidu and others chose to call on Pawan Kalyan so hurriedly at Vijayawada.

“What happened to Pawan Kalyan in Visakhapatnam so much that calls for the opposition leader making such a hungama? Was there any attempt on Pawan Kalyan’s life? Or was he gang-raped? Where is the need for Chandrababu Naidu to call on him?” Amarnath asked.

He pointed out that in fact, it was the Jana Sena Party workers who had attacked the YSRC ministers.

“If at all Naidu wants to call on somebody, he has to do with the ministers. Why should he go to Pawan Kalyan? Is it all his 40-years of political life?” he asked.

Reacting to Pawan Kalyan’s comment that new political equations would emerge in the state from tomorrow, Amarnath said Naidu could not wait even for a day.

“Your unholy nexus is now on the streets. All these days, you cheated people with your backroom conspiracies. Now it is in the open. We are ready to confront you, whether you face us separately or individually,” he said.

On Pawan Kalyan’s warning that he would beat the YSRC leaders with chappals, the minister gave a strong counter.

“Do you think we don’t wear chappals? People have already beat you with chappals politically both in Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka. Let him come again. We are ready with our chappals,” he said.
